Key into Word the first draft of the fable.
If Mrs. Shaw has edited your first draft, make your corrections and print.
Scan your artwork into the computer.

Inventor Slide Show

Today we will begin to create a Powerpoint slide show on the inventor for which you gathered information. Use your filled in storyboard to create the slides. You will have 5-6 slides plus a bibliography slide.

Patterns With Shapes

Today we will explore patterns using shape blocks. First, we will work at the interactive whiteboard to match different patterns with shapes and to look at equality. Next, we will work at our computers using Kidspiration to extend more complicated patterns and to create our own.

Writing Prompt

Today we will put your newly acquired keyboarding skills to work! We will learn how to use Microsoft Word to set up a heading, set tab markers, center text, and use the first line indent for paragraphs. Key in your writing prompt once you have setup your heading and title. Next week we will learn how to double space and use the grammar and spelling check.
